Cloud9: Coki + Chef
Long time, no posts. Been too busy to make even tracks lately so it's been a long silence in here. That's why I think it'll be best to start off the year in large way: warming up for one of my favourite djs, Chef + Coki in Playground tonight from 23 - 00. Check out also Jkrl in room 2, some exclusives dropping tonight...
ps. boycott iTunes, what a pile of s***

Most Played pt1: Bushby - Irregular around the margins
"Death is a force of nature jah, just like lightning. The righteous face it every day, and pass it by. But those with evil in their hearts fear it. That' is why there's no need to slay the wicked. Just leave them to face death, and they will perish."
I thought it'd be a good idea to re-up some old mixes, that I've been listening a lot over the past few years and this one's just right to start with, since I believe it's the first dubstep-mix I've ever listened advisedly. That speech sample in the beginning is perfect, but I haven't ever seen the movie, "Countryman", that it's from. I've recently "found" this hour of pure '06 eyes-down darkness again, since I noticed that it's a perfect soundtrack for travelling on metro.

The Demoscene Documentary
Part 1/6 from YLE's documentary series about Finnish demo scene. First part tells a story of Future Crew, the most known demo crew from Finland in the 90's (originating in Turku). They got famous with their 1993 demo, "Second Life" and nowadays they work on various branches of gaming and media.
Great stuff!

FACT mix 178: LHF
If you've listened to United Vibes on SubFM you know what I mean by "sample based" sound: warm sounding melodies from vinyls looped over shuffled drum breaks. This one's full of grooving halfstep and jungle-style garage, the same kind of stuff I like to hear in UV-shows.

Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber sounds pretty decent when slowed down by 800% and stretched.

WU WU WU
Wu-Tang in Helsinki tonight, first time in Finland ever. Thrilled to see how many of them are actually there.
Anyway, "Protect ya neck" -video has taken the title of "Greatest Wu-video" from "Da mystery of chessboxing" in my opinion. Just look at them running around with swords, flashing guns and those titles scrolling across the screen.
